mother of the groom dresses

An open letter to dress designers:
Mother of the bride/groom dresses can no longer read matronly. Women today that are over 50 no longer dress like Aunt Bea on the Andy Griffith show. But please add sleeves when possible. (I have had so many clients who are MOB or MOG and have struggled to find pretty-age-appropriate dresses.) Thankfully, we have a pretty deep selection. I even found something beautiful for a five foot tall, 87-years young grandmother of the groom who only wanted to wear pants. mother of the groom dresses

Is this just me since I work in fashion? Or have others struggled to find MOB dresses that work?
